A graceful ending for the Brushbox, leaving a very bewildered Strangler Fig behind.
But it made a wrong choice for the start.
Hope the Brushbox makes some useful timber.

That would only happen to me if I wanted the fig tree and if I wanted to demolish the buildings.
No joy with the Brushbox as far as useable timber goes Hans 
.When I cut it all up to clear the driveway,almost half of it was soft and powdery sapwood…not even any good for firewood..
The only bit my poor little tractor could’nt shift was the buttress of the Fig,mixed up with the roots of the Brushbox.As I could’nt move it,I asked around and the opinion was that the fig should re-shoot and start growing again..I hope it does anyway…
