yeah, ok..i still got Whoa

Even if it does tug at me a lot less than it used to.

My Burke Composite D arrived today  Whee!

once WhOA is in your blood, you can never get it out. cool though, i heard that is a good instrument.

Yeah..I’ve played them before. I recommended one as a father’s day present to Whitmore’s wife, and the last few gigs we’ve played, he’s let let me borrow his. I got hooked. It’s as good and stable a whistle as I’ve played.

Yeah, I know. I thought I was over mine too until avanutria came to visit, and I played her Laughing Whistle. Man does that thing sound sweet! Now I really want one. SIGH!

Oh, forgot to add, congrats on your Burke, Wanderer

Congrats also on the new avitar!

Wanderer…
Congratulations, on your Well Tempered WhOA acquisition. Yes. After many whistles, and years, and romances, the affliction becomes more, er, discriminating?
Yor words about the composite ring true. My own little batch of Burke Low composites are as “good and stable” as can be. FUN to play!

The Burke composite D is a sweet little thing. Is it narrow bore or regular? I have a narrow.
Izzy–My Laughing D is my favorite whistle. Mostly I play it, or an Alba Bb. So the other few are just kind of there for fun, I guess.

I have the DCS–D Composite Session. It’s a great whistle. I’m really loving it.

Congrats on getting a great whistle!

Now there’s a tune name!

It really is an awesome whistle. I really do need to acquire one somehow…I’m thinking a trip to Swindon to “borrow for an indefinite period” a certain “Precious” might be in order :smiling_imp: Do you think Gary would object?

Burke’s are sweeeeeeeet!

You’re going to let me try it out next time I’m in Hamster Land, right?
