I don’t recall one that IS numbered. My marked Wylde is not, what about you, “Aanvil”?
Agreed, Kevin. SFAIK Wylde did not serial number his output. The rather battered one I have has no number and I’ve not seen mention of any which did. For that matter, the C19th makers who did so are very much the exceptions. (Few of our modern makers do it either!)
Yes, Lorenzo, I have a Wilkes head, but there were other reasons for that.
And my current favourite head is the one off R&R#2130.
FWIW, I’ve just posted some photos of the Wylde in my possession in Terry’s current Rudall Workers thread

I’ve noticed that on my flute all the "E"s on “WYLDE” have the upper part less marked or missing, maybe because the marking iron (how is it called in English?) got consumed (or hit) after years of use. I’ve looked for images of other Wylde flutes and founded another one with the less marked E (the left handed one).
Maybe this suggests that mine is a later one (late 40s/early 50s)?
The keys on mine are also different, unbranded, with the long F bent up, a straight long C and narrower touches for low C# and C.
