Never heard of them before but after listening to the sound clips they are really good maybe I will have to buy one of their CDs.

I have not seen the whole band live, but I have been to a concert with some of the members playing in another band called Quilty which i really like and have both cd’s of. You should check them out too; www.quiltymusic.com I think.

Yes!
Have seen them play and attended a workshop held by some of the members. They are good I think, as are Quilty.

Yep. Great band, great fellows. I have seen three concerts. I’ve talked a bit with the fluter, great fellow. I have his number and have been in contact with him for lessons and stuff. He’s not Swede though, he’s an Irishman, Kevin Ryan. He’ll probably be on the WFO3 cd’s, thanks to me almost breaking my own arm trying to patt myself on the back.
Seriously, buy their cd, they have some great tunes and very imaginative arrangements.

Not unless he stops performing long enough to drop into the studio. I’ve had time booked since April, he just needs to call the studio when he can come in.

Both eitre and Quilty are great to see live.

The fiddle and bass player also play in my favorite trad. Swedish
band “Lure” (Valramn).

Here are som mp3’s with some Swedish piping and hurdy-gurdy :sunglasses:

Cheers!

Grab him by the ear Kevin. The man is bald so it’s easier to get a good grip. Then you just drag him into the studio and put the Grinter in his hands and soon enough you’ll start to hear wonderful music coming out of him.

He’s a mad busy guy. And often in the wrong country. I swear, every time I call him he’s within about 15 minutes of going on-stage to play.

Kevin Krell

Yes, I know. It’s happened to me when I’ve called him as well. He doesn’t have a lot of spare time. It’s a shame. But I guess he’s doing what he should be doing anyway, be on stage.
