Anyone have a spare one around they would be willing to sell? I need a flute I can play at longer sessions and outdoors without having to worry about the low humidity here in Arizona.
Please PM or email me if you have one to sell.
Thanks,
Bob

Contact Jon C. Hes in LA and makes a mean Pratten flute. He can make one out of Delrin for you.
This is something I have considered. How do Jon C’s Prattens compare with a Seery? The only Pratten I’ve had a chance to play is a friend’s Hammy.
Jon C., can you make a Pratten model with a two-piece body? It’s nice to have this flexibility in making the flute easier to hold.
Bob
Sure can.
Jon, are you doing any keys, yet (or whistles)? Been meaning to give you a call, will soon.

Bob,
I’m also in Arizona and I recently got a Jon C. delrin Pratten. I’ve never played a Serry, but my Jon C. flute is an excellent player and quite loud.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
John
Thanks to everyone for your PMs and emails. I’ve decided to have Jon C. make a delrin Pratten with a two-piece body.
Now, this will be my Christmas present. Any ideas on how to convince my wife I still need to break-in a delrin flute so she will let me have it before Christmas? ![]()
