WTB: Low D's

For those of you who caught my rather large ebay purchase recently, you may have deduced that I have come into a little extra money. As such, I am currently open to buying some low D’s for the purposes of reviewing on my website. This is a list of a few I am definately looking for, but I am open to hearing about anything I don’t already have. (You can see what I do have here: http://pipersgrip.50webs.com/Instrument%20Reviews.html If its in either the reviewed or to be reviewed list, I either had it or have it)

Copeland
syn
humphrey
SZBE
O’Brien
Shaw
Silkstone

Please be honest about the condition of any whistle you are offering to sell. It will save us both allot of time and postage. Thanks!

love the web site nice job

I did a side-by-side test of three Overtons (of various periods), a Burke, Susato, Kerry, and Copeland. Since I’ve tested an MK and a fourth Overton. (All low D.)
It will be interesting if you come to similar conclusions.
I recorded myself playing the same reel, jig, and air medley on each so that I could hear how others heard the whistles. The results of that were not at all what I expected based on how the whistles felt to play.
I’ve got a Chieftan Gold coming!!! I’ll add that to my “database”.
