Anyone got one of these going unused that they’d like to sell? I’m looking for the “New Improved” model, rather than just the original “Improved”. I think later ones say “New Improved” on the label, but I could be wrong there.

I was talking to Brid O Donohue earlier this week and she had just received two of Cillian’s from him for a couple of students. They sounded lovely, directly from the maker @ 25 euro plus 3 for postage

I have one of the early Improved D whistles he made (thanks again Blackhawk!) which I really like - best trad whistle I’ve played I think. Makes me curious what the newer version is like, and I probably ought to have a spare anyway.
I’m curious, are the newer one’s you’ve seen all brass bodied Peter? The older one I have is Nickel, although I think he made the older one’s in brass as well.

Here you are, it was a brass one. That was on tuesday. I suppose he’ll do you a nickel one when asked.
We shall see. Don’t much care for the smell of brass on my fingers, although the nickel admittedly can be a bit slippery at times.
