I wanted to surprise my neighbor who enjoys my Irish tunes. He is from India but I cannot find any written music on the net.
Can anyone help with a simple tune or two?
Yes Mary Joe and Antoinette put on an excellent show last night is Stanford CT. I sat next to Bloomfield and agree with his review completely
The national anthem might be available online. Its so many years since I lived there that I have forgotten its name. I think its starts by Jana, Mana something.
A simple but nice tune on the whistle. They don’t use much printed music but have a system of solfege that goes:
sa ri ga ma pa da ni sa
Adding later: I started a Internet search and got plenty of hits. Just use National anthem of India. There is a site that plays them out for you though that particular one wants you to buy em. I ran out of time and had to return to “work”
