So I got my brass Hoover in D in the mail today and the only word that my mind could form was “WOW”. It is possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in the 20 years and 10 months that I have been alive. And it sounds great! This is what tin whistles were supposed to sound like. My whistle is a custom job; it’s a little wider in the bore than the traditional bore model and, thus, has more volume. It is still the sweetest sounding whistle I’ve ever heard though and even though it has a wider bore, it still requires very little air.
I will definitely be buying from Mr. Hoover again.
