bravo. Uilliam’s observation (religious overtones aside) (it IS early, isnt it?) is quite valid. I have yet to meet one of those “67 creme-de-la-creme mastercraftspipers” who would rail against another uilleannist, (aspiring, competent, hobbyist, or otherwise) in the manner suggested.
Perhaps its best simply to count the total number of people with real sets in their hands, rather than to begin some kind of stratification.
Whos to say, if the piper that only thinks they can play today, will be actually playing astoundingly tomorrow?
