World Map and Computer Tech.

So, about a year and a half ago, someone had the wonderful idea of creating a world map where C&Fers could log in and locate their position (purely optional). We could see what a very small world it is. (And maybe help us AmeriCentric folks to see how big the world really is :wink: ). Everyone thought this was a wonderful idea (myself included) and I had hoped to be the hero by blindly volunteering for the task.

I am no hero. I lack both the skill and the time. Would anyone like to take me off the hook and come up with a wonderful map program?
