If you are in or near Montreal on May 12, you may want to consider attending a workshop that will be given by Steve Jones and Jean Duval to celebrate the life and music of Packie Manus Byrne. Packie turned 90 this year in February and this workshop will focus on his contribution to Irish traditional music both in story and through the learning of tunes. Whistles and other instruments are all welcome.
If interested, you can read more about the Workshop using this link.
