By a lucky turn of the radio knob, My Dad stumbled on some live irish music on the local station, and lo and behold…it’s Lunasa and they are playing in Seattle tomorrow night! I am so jazzed that I didn’t miss them. I had no idea they were in town!
Had to come blather on about it here because my husband is not nearly as excited about it as I am…

I haven’t seen the full Lunasa in ten years or so, but I saw Kevin Crawford and Cillian Vallely at a house concert last November, preceded by a whistle workshop with Kevin.
Yes, that will be a great show to see, and front row seats… up close and personal… how did you manage that?
BTW, I’m seeing Altan accompanied by Caitlín Nic Gabhann & Ciarán Ó Maonaigh tonight. Not bad on a Monday night.

We had front row seats to see Ursa Major staring Polaris on stage Firmament, it was a bear of a show. 
Had the pleasure to see Cillian do a solo house concert last summer (he had an accompanist on guitar) and got to sit next to him during the after show house session, even more fun. Have a great time at the concert!
I’d bet that the entire evening’s show revolved around Polaris.
Evidence it happened here, and the concert was grand.
