Is there a Wooff C set for sale somewhere? In Canada prehaps? I thought I saw this mentioned somewhere on C&F, but I can’t seem to find the text. Bob Gardiner’s name was mentioned. Prehaps I dreamt it???

Debbie has at least one other set. She has a full set in D from Koehler & Quinn. Absolutely beautiful instrument in both appearance and sound.

What exactly are the problems. As I understand she is an experienced piper and can probably make adjustments as needed, is it the travelling, humidity, or the lack of humidity that is causing extra problems?

Fair enough. I have just the one set I use, and a couple of extra chanters in different keys, and that’s enough for me to handle. Hope the set goes to a good home and gets played a lot.
I am sure djm is right. I just figured that she didn’t have an opportunity to play them.
I have just heard (3rd hand) that the C set has already been sold to some fellow in Alaska … 
I’ll find out more this weekend.

Good for Debbie, I think she will find it very enjoyable and of course she will make it SING. Plus Benedict will make certain the tuning and setup is faultless, I can’t wait to hear her playing it.

I’ve heard from an extremely reliable source that the Quigley C set by GW that is/was for sale is quite a nice set. Should be quite a nice find for whomever ends up with it. (and i’m quite nice and tired, and thus repetitive in a quite nice sort of way).
