Well, I ordered my Dixon 3 piece polymer flute from Thom at the Whistle Shop…but there was a run on Dixon’s at the time, so I had to wait. But TODAY…2 months to the day of my order, I received notice via e-mail that the package has shipped! It should arrive on Friday. I’m so excited! I can’t wait to finally get my hands on it! I have a doug tipple D pvc standard flute and it takes too much air.

No need to wait. Hobgoblin Music has about 5 in stock. I ordered one last Wednesday and it arrived on Friday. That’s from Minnesota to Michigan. I just spoke to the woman who took my order and she still has “about 5”.

Hey there. http://www.whistleshop.com actually gave me the shipping quote today at 2-3 weeks so not as bad as I thought. I know that hobgoblin has them but they are selling them at $245 USD or arounds there as compared to the whistle shop which is selling them at $189. I want my flute now, but am willing to wait longer to get it 56 dollars cheaper. I used the savings to buy my shakuhachi from Erik the flutemaker.
Plus I figure if it doesn’t work out or I turn out to be a terrible irish flute player I can probably sell it used for around what I paid.
