Inverting these images is telling: the first image is of a middle-aged-to-older man. He is wearing a tie, has a wedding band on his left hand and a pinky ring on his right pinky. Looks to be a âgentlemanâ piperâŚso I know itâs not me!
The next image is of a much younger man (or womanâŚprobably man) probably in his early twenties.
The third image is of a piper somewhere in between in age. This image looks to have had some editing to hide some clues on the mainstock, which might have given away the owner of the set at least.
These all appear to be the same set of pipes, chanter looks to be flatâŚperhaps in the B range.

Could be Uilliamâs handâs in the first actually. I think the set is Cormac Cannonâs Egan set thoughâŚwhich makes sense as heâs in college in Edinbugh and all that malarckey
Well done to JR for spotting Paddyâs set almost immediately. But its hats aff to Pat for getting the Egan set right and the second player as CormacâŚYe are both eligible to share the prize so its the bridle to Pat and the hemp to JR .

The photies were taken last Saturday afternoon in Pats House when the three of us got together to have a look at Cormacs Egan set which used to belong to Pat.Rather a pleasant time altogether and the set sounded lovely.
