I entered in this drawing on October 20th and received a receipt thanking me.
I get home, check my messages and there is a message from Jim Rementer—My heart LEAPS with Anticipation- I get to replace my beloved Copeland D that I had to sell when I lost my job!
THEY DIDN’T PUT THROUGH THE PAYMENT TILL TODAY AND I CHANGED THE NUMBER ON THE CARD SINCE THEN SO I WAS DROPPED FROM THE RAFFLE!
I am SO mad about this I can’t stand it- WHY WHY WHY give me a receipt if you aren’t going to put through the charge???
I would have never changed cards if I thought this was going to occur.

Sorry if I seemed insane there I was just really really looking forward to the raffle. It was the anticipation of possibly winning more than anything that was so fun and to have that reach the crescendo of hearing Jims’ voice on my answering machine only to be cruelly yanked away the next second just made me really sad.
I am very happy for the winners (got any Burkes you dont need now;)?) and am even more happy for Wendy ( I hope the money helps and I’m sorry about your loss)…
caveat emptor I guess, next time I will call if I have to make changes to my accounts to confirm the order number means the payment was debited.
