I like the tone of the high-end low whistles,but I don’t always like the windy sound I hear. I thought at first this was due more to the skill of the player,now I’m not so sure. From you players out there who’ve heard or played alot of diferent whistles,can you recommend some that meet this criterion.I prefer metal whistles over plastic. At this time, I’m specifically looking for a low E whistle. Thanks.
For a full, pure sound, a Burke AlPro will suit you well. If you want a full sound, with the cosmic drainpipe signature, buy an Overton… The Overton will cost you more, and you will wait awhile for it. The Burke is usually immediatley available.
