Someone mentioned this on the woodenflute list today.
Anybody out there have one of these? If so, what do you think?

You need to give more details.
I have one by another company, so I can’t comment on the specifics of this machine, it’s cheaper then the one I have, and with mine you can’t change the pitch.
But it sure allowed me to learn tunes that for the life of me, I could not tell what was going on there at full speed.

It looks like you just put in your CD, then adjust as needed.
It might be simple enough for me 
Then again, it’s getting easier for me to hear the music, lately, so as long as I can lilt the tune I can usually pick it out on my flute.

Looks cool. I had known of another brand (was it Marantz?), but it was at least twice as expensive as this one. I think David Migoya has that other brand’s.
Tascam used to make good stuff, though not very sturdy. Looks like a good buy, for the price.
You can do the same for free with a computer, using Winamp and a couple of plugins, but sometimes having a small portable piece of equipment is very nice.
