Win a Pre-Release Copy of The Corrs' New CD

I recently had an opportunity to review Home, the lastest album from The Corrs. It’s due out on Feb. 7, but you can win a copy right now. The CD is full of great traditional Irish music along with some modern tunes.

It just won’t stand up to Sinead O’Connors “Sean Nos Nua”..

Those mid-Atlantic nasal accents tend to give the game away.

I won’t even mention the Orchestral stuff…

Slan,
D.

Gee! You just can’t get any more trad than The Corrs!

djm

You’re only saying that because they’ve got big tit les on their latest CD sleeve…

Steve

They may have big foreheads, but tit les they haven’t.

Hm. It looks like they actually started singing Irish songs again.
That’s nice to see, at least. They went terribly pop-y trying to
court the stupid American audience.

P.S., Amazon says the CD will be released in the US this Tues. (Feb. 7th)

First prize… a Corrs CD. Second prize…two Corrs CDs

Careful mate - we don’t know who sisterstalk is. It may be the Corrs themselves! :astonished:

Steve

 Not unless they’ve changed their name to Rocky Raccoon and moved to Klump Avenue, North Hollywood.

Quote - "Home is a collection of 13 traditional and modern Irish songs that will feed any music lover’s need for something completely outside the box."

I don’t think so !!!

“Dimming of the Day” written by that wonderful Irish singer song writer Richard Thompson Doh ??? !!! (Not)
and “Peggy Gordon” I do believe originates from Scotland.
I love Christy Moore’s version of both “Black is the Colour” & “Spanchil Hill” and have no great desire to hear versions by “The Corrs”

I think I’ll stay firmly in the box!!!

Yep. One and the same.

Hmm. You’re giving me Corrs for concern.

Steve

hmmm a corrs tribute band?? :astonished:
