So my daughter dragged me off to see “The Anchorman” movie last night. It is a completely stupid movie, but I laughed a lot. Most flute players will like the scene where he plays “Jass flute”. A total crack-up.
hahahaha.. I saw a picture of that scene in my school (university of Western Ontario)'s newspaper. It cracked me up. Movie makers never cease to find improper uses for the flute (ex. band camp)
Luckily all of this cheezy flute humor is pointed at the metal flutes, not the wooden ones. 
haha yeah, it’s true. However… how many normal, non-musicians know what a wooden flute is? I saw a person in a music store look at a wooden flute and say “hey look, it’s a flute that’s been burnt”… I dont even know where to start with that one. Maybe they were lacking full mental capabilities or something, but it appeared the average joe doesnt understand what a wooden flute is.
