wifi antenia recomendation anyone?

Does anyone have experience with one of these to pick up a stronger wifi signal? Brand and best buy?
Tanks

Some people make their own from a Pringles cannister.

is there a website that shows how tomake one?.
I like pringles, buy don’t allow myself to eat em’, might be a good excuse to break my rule

I found it on google, veddy interesting.
Thanks Walden

There’s a hot water heater between my computer and the router, and it makes me have 1 bar of signal. I’ve a lot of good luck with the D-Link 7dbi omni-directional wireless..i end up with 4-5 bars on most days.

Do shop carefully. I tried two different models by major manufacturers and they made no difference at all.

MFJ Enterprises has a high gain Yagi - Does better than the Pringles Chip can (Which I’ve made before). The pringles can design is actually small in diameter for that frequency.

MFJ is run by Ham Radio people - that’s the kind that you want when it comes to antennas.

Here’s two places to get them:

You can put these in plastic containers outdoors to protect better from the elements.
