This is kind of random, but I just got home from Irish Dance class, and my parents were watching ‘who’s line is it anyway’ and one of the things was one of the guys had to sing a song in the style of “Riverdance”. It was quite funny. Also they had a kind of cruddy tin whistle player on, which was umm…interesting…but I thought this would be funny to share with the forum.
I was in home depot today looking for gromits and the music they had playing struck me as funny. It was an obvious synth sound of a whistle, slides and cuts and all. I thought to myself what a pitty, there are so many whistle players out there that would have recorded that part for a pint or two. I’ll never get “muzac”
I watched the same program and it wasn’t a whistle–it was a piccolo–side blown.
What was interesting was the young woman from the audience that danced with Wayne Brady in that Riverdance segment. It looked like she did Irish dancing.
