Gee, I hate being an overly sensitive clod, but with the current US/World situation, using the word “terrorist” in a funny post ain’t particularly funny. Save the “T-word” for the real bad guys. Perhaps “saboteur” or “anarchist” would be more appropriate.

Curioso, I regret I hurt your sensitivity. 
Makes me realize the rest of the world (outside US) seems to be less itchy about such words.
Maybe because to us the term is no novelty, so we got used to it to the point it can be used at second-degree?
Maybe because we could have bombings in Paris in the 80’s and still have a thriving Academy of Semantic Terrorism (something akin to the Discordians).
Also, I don’t know what kind of pressure you personnally got from security and/or political agents in your business (or what I make of it from your email address). This could explain your being even more sensitive to terminology ?
Finally, maybe we–and I for sure!–tend to tell more jokes of poor taste, i.e. non-PC.
