WHOA X 2 X 3

Had the opportunity to sit in at a fundraiser for elderly Native Americans on reservations (Adopt-a-Grandfather) a few days ago and one of the featured players was a flute and whistle maker/player from the area, the one Brewerpaul talked about in the Native American music thread.
He makes, among many things, 2 and 3 bore wooden whistles that sound absolutely amazing with a beautiful, haunting wood sound.
These are not 2 whistles tied together rather one wide whistle body with 2 or 3 bores all played through one mouth piece/fipple with 6 finger holes like a standard whistle.
While playing the low D,E, and F# you get a drone note like a bagpipe. From the G on up it plays harmony for you (what a hoot-no pun intended).
Being a maker/seller of whistles he knew exactly what to do- let me play them. I am hooked and suffering double and triple whoa. Gotta start saving my pennies(about$120 worth for the 2 bore).
Has anyone else seen or had the pleasure to play such a creature?
