i had a listen to them hall crystal flutes, they sounded rather nice and very special. but i won’t bother with flutes, so i ran a search on crystal whistles, just couldn’t find them. i think the mouthpiece on a crystal wistle is very difficult to make. is anyone aware if they exist?
I contacted them over a year ago, and they didn’t express much of an interest in creating a fipple-blown instrument at that time. You may want to drop them a note to see if they would reconsider. I would love to be at the front of THAT line…even if the headjoint isn’t glass.

I made two experimental Pyrex whistles and discussed the results on this forum- http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php?t=3664&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 . I was not the only person to make a glass whistle or think of trying that. I didn’t have the resources to build a sturdy whistle. Both my experiments broke. The sound was incredible, so it was a qualified success.
