i have heard a few tunes by kate rusby recently and i love her already. does anyone know who plays flute/whistle on her tracks?
Hi, I think John McCusker plays whistle on the albums. Mike McGoldrick also plays on them, but I think he’s only playing flute, I can’t quite remember.
I recently had the pleasure of seeing both of them play together in Denmark. It was quite a show. They are both very talented musicians.
Kate Rusby is amazing.

i would also assume it’s john, he is her husband now after all, perhaps they both play his whistle.

When I saw her in concert she was playing with John and also Andy Cutting… just the three of them… rediculously good.
McGoldrick does indeed play on her albums.
