As I am a fan of Dave Williams pipes. I noticed that the great pipers don’t play on the Williams chanters. Even when they have a full set by Dave.
Why is this ??? Are the others ( like froment, K&Q, Rogge ) better for them ?

James O’Grady, Tim Dowd, Erik Faithful, Lucy DeLap all play Williams chanters and as well as all being v good pipers their pipes sound very nice indeed
