Gentlemen. Sorry to arrive at this post so late. I fear that the piper in question is actually Patrick Twomey and not George McCarthy or McCartney as is sometimes given. Twomey was a Wicklow piper and played in the area of Poulaphuca. See http://uilleannforum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1743
