Hey Laura,

why the sudden shedding of whistles?

Well…

Fret job on guitar,
A few doctor’s bills…

And last but not least…

Eh hem… the Overton Low D
should be coming in a month or so…

Laura

Doggonit! I just ordered a Dixon tunable in C! Wished the Chieftain would have been for sale 5 days earlier. I do minor guitar repair, but haven’t done a total re-fret yet. What kind of guitar are you refretting? Just my curiosity, people usually only save the better guitars and sell the bad ones. Tell me more about the Chieftain C. How’s the tone?

The Kildare is spoken for.

The C is getting a nibble.

And the fret job was for my Martin.

However, not for our famous Martin Milner though…

Laura

Chieftain C whistle is spoken for.

Laura,

what kind of Martin do you play?

I play a D16T, satin finish with “de-luxe” inlays in the bridge and in the fretboard. Very rare and a jewel. Never seen a D16 like this, maybe it´s a mixe up and I actually own a D18… nah!

I also play a Lowden O23 mainly for fingerpicking, The Martin works for fingerpickin but is maybe more suitable for various strumming stuff.

Have a nice weekend!

Ooooo… sounds like a sweet guitar.
I play a simple D1R
It suites me… Ah, someday… I will own a second guitar. Right now I sure miss my Martin. Still in the shop. Sure could use a back up guitar. I guess the obsessive instrument behavior has not hit me with more than one guitar yet.
