Whistlers in Oregon?

Are there any other lurkers here from Oregon? I’d love to get together over coffee and chat. I’m kind of lonely! And I know about you, ROB!

Another question - if you’re in Oregon, or know whistlers in Oregon… know anyone who’d feel like a weekly lesson?

Hey there, I’m in PDX and have been lurking around here again, as I waffle around between whistle, piano, and mandolin, figuring out where my next musical obsession might manifest. I’m pretty rusty on the whistle at the moment, having been focusing on piano for the past 6 months, but I’d be up for coffee and company.

As for lessons, I sure need 'em, but at this point I would need to find a teacher who takes food stamps… :stuck_out_tongue:

(Cheerful greetings to all who may remember me. It’s been good to see you all are still holding true to form…)

Hi squddie, welcome back.

Hi, I’m in Oregon–but in Klamath Falls, and I’m not sure if that counts to some folks (it sure does to me). : )

I’ve been a musician for years, but am VERY new to the Irish whistle and wind instruments period. Happy and excited to get on the slow quest.
