Does anyone know what whistle was used for this? you can check it out on Youtube.
Sounds overtonish maybe?
This is the sound I’m after, closest I ever came was a Copeland sterling.
Thanks

I believe that if you don´t have a picture/live video, we´ll be hardly ever sure. The sound of whistle is nearly always digitally processed, and you can never tell how exactly.
Yeah, try recording your Copeland and turning on some reverb.
I’ll bet that’d do it.
Or try recording your x (x=Clarke org., Sweetone, Meg, Generation, Walton, Burke, Dixon trad, Dixon PVc…) and turning on some reverb.
I’ll bet that’d do it as well ![]()
Probably, yes. But since demon_piper had already gotten “close”
with the Copeland, I figured the reverb might put it over the line.
I checked with Robert White what he used on it, he played C pipes and his Overton C on it. Hope this helps
