Does anyone know if manufacturer’s stickers are available anywhere. I want one for my Walton’s that was lost sometime ago. Also, I’ve been tweaking some whistles with the guitar pick/windway tweak and the results are amazing..my cheapest whistles became my favorites and I’m ready to buy some more just to tweak and see what can be done with them..
Dave,
Could you describe this tweak, or point me to where I might find a detailed description of it?
Thanks!
You’ll find it if you use search and look for “ultimate whistle tweak”. Was originally posted by raindog 1970. Since I play the guitar I had lots of picks to choose from and found the best to be a Fender Thin. I used the tip section and allowed the tip to extend beyond the original blade. It makes a huge difference. The finished product looks like a whistle with it’s tongue sticking out..
Thanks!
I’m happy to know that there are still people using the blade overlay tweak.
Dave, are you referring to the airway entrance tweak or the labium ramp overlay tweak? With all due respect to Raindog the delrin plectrum idea on both counts are my own.The airway tweak was in response to a recent thread by StevieJ and his Gen tweak and the overlay in response to a post by Raindog some time ago which was a variation on the Cillain O´brian /Thomas Hastay sax reed tweak.A search should locate both these threads.
Peace,Mike
Ramp overlay…it’s a great tweak, so thanks to all who developed, shared, promoted..didn’t mean to leave anyone out. It was just the one I saw.. Now about those stickers…

Dave, if you are artistically inclined, why not make your own and apply it with cellotape. This way you can even improve on the original lable and since your whistle is customised anyway, would give it a personal touch.
