Whistle stand making for dummies

  1. Take one block of polymer clay, the kind that hardens in the oven. I used a 3x4x2 inch block.

  2. Create holes by driving into the block a lacquered or plastic chopstick. Fit chopsticks in holes with the pointy side up. I made four holes for four high whistles. Remove the chopsticks.

  3. Harden the block in the oven according to the instructions.

  4. After cooling, glue the chopsticks into the holes. The chopsticks should fit snuggly.

Voila. One custom whistle stand for the woodshop impaired. For more whistles, use a larger block and more chopsticks.

I hadnt really thought of using chopsticks before boo,
A good thought and probably cheaper then using dowel.
Thanks for the tip
