My wife is insisting we go to my daughter’s house in Cincinnatti the middle of August because of a Stamping Up Convention. Is there any Whistle shops, Irish shops, etc. around that area? I would really like to go someplace to escape the stampers.

I asked this last year and no one had any suggestions past the usual regular shops which carry only Gens or whatever. I don’t kn ow if that’s changed since then.
My wife does the stamping too. Tell her you have important business and head to the zoo. Make sure you get lunch at Skyline.
Thanks for the response. My wife, my 4 daughters, and 3 of my grand daughters do stamping. We go out there every year since my daughter lives in Milford. My grand daughter is a music major and she didn’t know of any place selling Irish traditional music and related items.
The zoo is one good idea. I may go to the city library. They have a very nice genealogy section there. I can do some family research. There are a couple of large computer stores where I can kill a few hours. Thanks.

My shop is in Kings Mills -near Kings Island. My place is more a workshop than a walk-in type shop and I have strange business hours.
