Now, now boys… let’s settle down. We do have minors on the board, you know. Can’t have you getting too hot and bothered…

Personally, I believe we should let the whole ‘oral’ thing die. As aderyn_cyrdd said, we do have a number of impressionable young people on the board and I’d like to keep this a “family show” if you know what I mean. Actually, its one of the things I like about this board - peopel have been great at keeping bad language and crudity to a verly low level.
Mastersound, I was disappointed with my Walton’s LBW at first but to tell you the truth the more I play it the more I like it - it seems to be very sensitive to very light changes in air pressure. I do not like the wussy, thin aluminum shaft though. At the suggestion of someone here on the board (I don’t remember who)I put my LBW head on an Oak shaft - it sounds like a better LBW and I like the feel of the heavy shaft (with the LBW aluminum shaft I always felt as if it would break).

You’d have to be very attentive if you were sitting in the front row of an Elton John concert I guess, just in case a grand piano came flying towards you!

How many whistlers actually keep their whistles in a drumstick bag? I stole my brothers drumstick case from when he was in percussion, and last Saturday at a St. Patrick’s celebration, I met another whistler that also keeps his whistles in a drumstick case.

Hi kardshark
I’d actually bought the stick bag for him while we were on holidays a year or so back. It was a cheapie where all the sticks just rattle around in a pocket each side. I was looking in a drum shop the other day and they had ones with stitched sections for pairs of sticks or brushes, about 6 pairs to a side. That could be the next purchase until I find someone who sells different whistles, maybe even in different keys. I still can’t get over the fact that cheap usable whistles are so much fun and cheaper than a set of guitar strings!
