Interesting-- it looks like he’s playing the whistle transversely like a flute.
Over on the right, I found a link to Edgar Cruz playing a terrific classical guitar transcription of Bohemian Rhapsody. Check that out too.

I’m convinced there is an extraordinary potential for blues whistle. It helps to have a skanky whistle.
Hi
I’ve seen already that video ( it’s part of Martin Scorzese’s blues documentary) if I remeber correctly!
the old guy (Otha Turner ) is playing a kind of fife made from himself , it’s not a whistle ,
and the other guy it’s a very good blues musicians called :
Corey Harris , if you want an interesting blues album made from him , I would suggest you to buy Fish Ain’t Bitin .
Anyway I’ve tried to play this piece with a whistle and it sounds ok !
Manuel
P.S. Otha Turner was a great simple man , with an extraordinary soul :
Rest in Peace
That has … disturbing implications.
Sorry for my bad english , perhaps I should have said made by himself .
I’m agree that a fife made from human … would be too much I guess
Manuel
this was cool thanks
