Whistle Music from the "Secret of the Roan Inish"

Does anyone know of a source for sheet music for the movie “Secret of the Roan Inish”? Especially music for the whistle or cello. TIA

If you find out off board, would you please let me know.

That movie is a favorite of mine.

Can’t find any of the original music as sheet music, but The Session lists “The Butterfly”, “Joe Burke’s”, “Mist on the Mountain”, and “An Mhaighdean Mhara” in association with the movie. I hadn’t realized it was now on DVD … I see a new purchase coming up very soon!

To the best of my abilities this morning (and they’re never all that hot at any time of day, but worse in the am!) below is the track list as it relates to traditional music. I’m sure others will have more to add who own it and know it. Sadly, track 10 doesn’t appear in the film, just on the soundtrack - some of Ronan Brown’s killer variety of uilleann piping.

“Chugat” means “towards you”. “Chuaigh me chugat” is “I went to you.”

If you want to say “Health to you” it would be “Slainte dhuit”.

Man, no wonder we hated this at school.
