Too bad there’s no WHISTLE HERO yet.
I can forgive that oversight due to there being a Bagpipe Hero and a Flute Hero.
Just wait till Madison ave comes up with one, they’re so out of touch that they’ll probably put a thumbhole on it. ![]()
Yeah, and it’ll look like this:

I just hope I don’t get banned for putting up that picture… ![]()
Yeah, the flute hero shirt has a picture of some kind of metal instrument on it.
Oh and there’s an oboe hero and piano hero. ![]()

Good enough for me! ![]()
T
I’m seriously considering a Mandolin Hero shirt
WHAT??? No dulcimer hero???
At the Dublin Irish Fest, I went back to the “performers lounge” during a slow part of the festival. Someone with Gibson pipes (his son in law) and two others whom I didn’t know were playing Rock Band.
We all started talking and we said wouldn’t it be cool to have a version that had pipes, bodhran, whistle (and the option to add a dulcimer of course)?
My opening comment to them was “You’ve got all these instruments out there, and you are back here playing a damn video game - what is WRONG with you?!”
It appears to be some sort of cheap Darth Maul lightsaber replica.
Concertina Hero would be a good one. ![]()
Hahaha! My wife just ordered a Recorder Hero shirt (I gave in and ordered the Mandolin one).
On the Recorder Hero page, in a box marked “nutritional information” (?)
it says: “I’m always nervous that if I went to a session and pulled out a recorder (rather than a whistle) that I’d get looks. Maybe it’s just me.” Natasha said that and it’s exactly the kind of thing I was talking about. It’s true. Recorder players are looked down on.

Who cares about whistles? I mean, they have a Kazoo Hero. NOTHING tops that. ![]()
