Burke D Aluminum Pro Session - $95 (US)
I would also be willing to trade for a Sindt D. The whistle is in perfect condition and comes with a black vinyl pouch. Buyers pays postage.

How come no-one ever has a Burke Alum. pro C for sale, it is always the D? Must be a conspiracy, or else - no one plays C whistles but me, or the Burke C’s are too good and no-one wants to part with them! (bump, but I really do want a Burke Al pro C too)
Cheryl
Oddly enough, I think Mike Burke has them. ![]()
Whistle has been sold - ironically to a guy who works in the same building as me ![]()
What? People do actually work in Ottawa?
Heee heeeee heeeee!
I’m using the word very loosely Az…
Still very risky for me, hopefully Rich won’t delete my account (maybe he’s too busy working)

I don’t particularly like aluminum, but it is handy when in come to larger whistles that would be heavy in brass. However, being the new recipient of a glorious-can’t-say-enough-good-things-about-it brass Burke C (my sincerely thanks to Tyghre who gifted me with this this past weekend while we were at Song of the Sea), I have to admit that I’m utterly delighted with it.
I’ve had and sold a bakelite Burke C (utter lack of character to my ear, and tempermental in getting and staying in the upper register). I have an O’Riordan C which is okay but nothing special. The Burke C, though, has pleased me enormously. It has a bit of a growl to it as I bounce around with pedal notes, it goes into the third register without complaint. Too bad the world doesn’t play more in C.
WhOA!!! I should not have read Tyghress’ post.
I do not need a Burke brass C.

{enormous toothy G} sure ya do! If I thought clips gave decent sound I would tempt you with that (why should I be the only one who gets broadsided by WhOA?) ah what the heck…I’ll clipsnip tonight ifn someone will host it
Tempt me? Horsefeathers!
If you email it to me, I’ll host it.
I have a Burke Al Pro C and I can assure you that it is most definitely not for sale. I bonded with it as quickly as with my Copeland low D and my Abell D and that is very fast indeed. It’s a beautiful instrument.
