Hi all: I’m looking for a leather pouch/container for my D whistle. Does anyone know of a source for these? Thanks!

To echo Erik’s sentiment: Lee makes a neat leather whistle pouch. The one he brought me blows my amateurish attempts out of the water!

They make what they call a whistle flute case, which is beautifully made from nylon backmaterial with polarfleece padding. They come in several sizes, I believe.
They made the first one years ago for me-- I needed case for my Copeland, and met these nice people at a craft fair selling their tote bags, backpacks etc ( all terrific also). Long as I was at it, I had them make the case with enough slots for several whistles and I have loved it ever since. I have no commercial interest in this at all- just like to give a plug to some local folks making some great items at very fair prices.
I currently have a combination D & C leather pouch that comes with a beltclip. I’m in Houston, Tx for a few weeks (I live in DC-Baltimore area), so if you e-mail me, I may take a couple of days to respond.
I don’t have any pictures of them yet be cause I’ve only made 4 so far and don’t have digital photo equiptment. Greg (Wandering Whistler) said he may post a picture, (here or on his website (www.Tinwhistler.com) of the pouch I made for him, If not, you may want to e-mail him for description.
I probably should charge something for them to recover material costs; but, I haven’t figured that part out yet. I guess, I prefer Greg’s form of payment: a couple of Irish Coffee’s, a pleasant evening, and a gentle introduction to sessions in Houston.

The case is excellent, I’ll say it again. When I showed my wife, she looked kind of apologetic and said “You know, those look a lot better than the cases you made for RenFair”…at which point I said “That’s exactly what I told Lee!”
