Does anyone know of any shoppes in Nashville, TN (or nearby) that carry whistles (or simple system flutes)???

It’s GOOD no one sells whistles near me. I’d bankrupt myself.
Bretton’s location is Bloomington, Indiana, so there’s more to this story than is intially evident.
You are correct. My current location is Nashville, TN (for the weekend), and it seemed that in a big musical city like this there ought to be somewhere to visit that sells whistles, but I hadn’t been able to find anything via Google.
If there’s anything else in Nashville you suggest seeing/visiting, let me know.

You need to change your thread title to include the word “Emergency” or “911” or “I need help now.” I’ve done that with math problems. These folks will come to your aid (or do your homework) like nobody’s business.) Mine wasn’t homework so much as a visual aid that required math beyond my abilities.
If you change your mind about the whistles, and decide to go for an Elvis ashtray or Garth Brooks bobblehead instead, let me know.

Don’t know any place that sells whistles, but I like to visit Gruhn Guitars whenever I’m in Nashville.
Much of the inventory is vintage stuff, and the prices are frightening, but still a great place to look around and drool.
You mean you can’t find one at Ernest Tubb’s store…what is the world coming too? Just wait someone will use a whistle on a record and you will be knee deep in whistles in nashville…maybe not.
