I have a friend who wants to buy a Copeland D. She lives in toronto and there is no place here. The Whistle Shop does not have them listed. Any suggestioins would be appreciated.

You can get them directly from the maker at http://www.copelandwoodwinds.com and expect a loooong waiting list. Having just been laid off this week, I had to cancel my Copeland order, right as they were nearing creating time. Talk about the ultimate frustation! (sorry for the rant..hadda get it off my chest)
Alternately, you can try to pick one up used..Loren recently said he’d consider offers for his Copeland nickel D, but he didn’t name a price, so I’d expect it’d have to be a good one to get him to part with it.
Fyfer Restorations has both a high and a low D brass Copeland for sale now.
If you don’t mind buying a second-hand whistle, you could get either of them shipped very quickly.
