That photo was taken at the Irish fair in Irvine, CA this past summer where I was doing demos as a representative of the SoCal pipers club.
*** MAE added after the thread had several posts, since it may be confusing… to those new to the thread, originally, the link above had a picture of me from an related piping event in California, a copyrighted picture taken by a 3rd party and used without permission, deep linked directly to my site. It was this one:
Just to be sure here–did you find this article while searching for Piperlink or something? The link you provided is for an article for the concert happening in Minneapolis later in October, not Milwaukee.
I wouldn’t have minded so much if they had just copied the picture and hosted it on their site, but that they are deep linking to my site, that means they are using my webspace bandwidth allotment, which is limited by my ISP and not all that high.
Contact them, tell them you object/fart/claim rights/need $$$/or at least a mineral water (mango flavored)/ to their use of your image. Sit back, and let the bank account swell.
