Hello board,
I could do with finding out the market value of a fully keyed Ruddal Rose in very good order, which is numbered around 500. A friend of mine and I need to execute a sale, for acquisitions purposes, wheelin and deelin, whistlin dixie etc etc etc, ariston and on and so on…
David, Bring it to NC next week. Figure around 3K, or you can sell it for more on ebay and after expenses realize around 3K. Looking forward to picking up your CD.
Thanks Shoner. I should have added, specify the currency, and pm me if you are not comfortable with mentioning the value you think in public. Or send me an email, davidmpower@comcast.net
It would depend on the flute as far as worth or price, is it boxwood, cocus or rosewood or other? how many keys, does it come with a case,
how does the flute play and does it need repair, i have come across some great rudalls over the years, but i have also seen some lesser quality rudalls,
like any company they had their golden period, If you could put a photo of the flute on here i would certainly give you a good idea of what it is worth.
No, no, he really isn’t being rude. If it does in fact say Ruddal instead of Rudall, then it would be a fake… so the emphasis is um.. not rude… maybe… ok, I don’t really know.
I don’t think there is any doubt the one we are speaking about is not genuine, only the owner is somewhat out of touch w.r.t the value. I, on the other hand, is somewhat out of touch w.r.t the spelling!
I feel sort of out on left field here and dont really know what this is all about?
is somebody trying to raise funds for something, or are we talking about the
price of a genuine rudall & rose flute?
Someone was trying to raise funds, through the sale of a genuine Rudall and Rose flute, that they have with them in Miltown at the moment, so that a set of pipes could be bought, but it is irrelevant now, because the fund source has been found elsewhere.
