Heathery Cruach is a nice tune, but what the heck is a cruach?
The word Cruach has several meanings, in Irish:
A stack (usually of hay or turf but maybe heather, too)
A Pile or heap (of heather, possibly)
A pile of money

It’s used in Gaelic as well. Verb means heap, stack, rick. Friend says it is pronounced as crew ack?
