What would a Generation low D sound like?

There is a big difference between a Generation D and a Generation B flat (the B flat having a little more chiff and breathiness to it). So if there was a Generation low D what would it sound like? Is there any low Ds that captures that sound now or would a Generation low D be a lot different than other low Ds?

There are several mfr’s of low D that use a plastic/composite head on a metal body. That could be the first place to look.

The ones that I have played have sounded like their own instrument (not a Generation). I think that you’ll find this to be true.
