Hi everyone, long time listener, first time caller. During the last play I was working on, someone up and walked off with my Feadog (yeah, they’re just that good), and since I’ve allowed for the appropriate amount of time for mourning and whatnot, I’m wondering if I should get another Feadog or move on. The Feadog was great, but any suggestions of a whistle that might sound better or louder would be appreciated.
Thanks.
P.S., if this helps in your replies, I already have a Walton’s mellow d, 2 Clarke orig., and a no brand whistle.
Better is so subjective that it’s kind of meaningless for us to make that recommendation. Can you talk a bit more about what you like (and don’t like) about the Feadog sound vs the whistles you already have? Or do you just want a louder Feadog?
