They’re all common session tunes. If you like that video, you’d like the album “Music at Matt Molloy’s”. They’re playing lots of rolls there, BTW. But you don’t like rolls … :wink:

Its not that I don’t like rolls its I can’t get it through my head to do them thus I hate them lol.

I go through a strange denial. I can’t get them to sound right. But I do like the way Mary Bergin rolls it sounds so sweet.

I’m just teasing you. If you stick with it, a year from now you’ll re-read your old comments and wonder what the heck you were thinking … :slight_smile:

Rolls are difficult. Subtle and complex. If after couple of years of practice you start to get the timing and nuances right, you’ll be doing OK.

You know its funny I listen to Mary Bergin and I hear her flawless rolls and I watch her fingers moving at the speed of light and I wonder if my fingers are to old.

My fingers never moved that fast on a sax. :boggle:
