What language is this, and what does it mean?

Hi

I received the following comment to one of my Panoramio / Google Earth photos. I have no idea what language it is or what it means? Can anyone help?

“tam jest pięknie i trche chłodno i w sam raz”

The photo and the comment is here:
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/549590

It shows the mountainous islands of Træna in northern Norway with clouds in the background that seem to mimic the shape of the islands.

The message was posted by a user who calls him- or herself “Łukasz1582”. The user has not posted any photos and has not commented on any other photos. My guess is he or she clicked through from Google Earth.

Googling the text turns up a bunch of .pl websites, so I’m going to guess polish.

A polish-english online translater says “There there is beautiful (fine) < beauty > and cool trche and exactly”.

Which doesn’t leave us much farther ahead.

It’s Polish. Something like “It looks beautiful and cold at the same time”.

That “L” with a line through it occurs only in Polish.

Not exactly …

That was quick!!! :astonished:

Thanks guys!

It wasn’t so cold. Probably around 16-20 deg C in the summer when I sailed in that area. I had to light the oil furnace some nights, but most of the time I was fine with no heating. The winters were a different story. I sometimes had to shovel my way out of the boat.

What a nifty picture.
